Vince Zampella, Dies in a Los Angeles Vehicle Accident
The co-creator of Call of Duty, who helped create the immensely successful first-person shooter Call of Duty, has passed away in a traffic collision in Los Angeles, California he was 55 years old.
The tragic news was announced by Electronic Arts, the publisher that controls Respawn Entertainment, the development studio he co-founded.
The renowned game designer died after his vehicle was involved in a crash and burst into flames on a motorway in LA on Sunday morning, US media outlets report.
"This is an unimaginable loss, and our deepest sympathies go to Vince's family, his loved ones, and all those touched by his creative vision," a representative from Electronic Arts stated.
