Around 25,000 homes in south-east Queensland were left experiencing outages on Monday morning after intense storm systems impacted the region, producing powerful gusts reaching 109 kilometers per hour.

Large Hailstones and Broad Impact

Homeowners observed large ice chunks reaching sizes of seven centimeters in particular locations. The Bureau of Meteorology confirmed that various areas across Queensland had been impacted by substantial ice precipitation.
